Job Description

York Central School is seeking an Elementary School Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist to guide and support the YCS students and to work collaboratively with families, in addition to the following attributes: 

• Dynamic and proactive approach with students
• Skilled in individual/group counseling
• Preferred experience with crisis intervention/trauma and play therapy

 

This is a 1.0 FTE probationary appointment

Salary: TBD/per contract.  Benefits and compensation per the current YTA contract

The anticipated start date is September 1, 2026

Job Qualifications

New York State Certification(s) required.
